Tekashi 6ix9ine might be finally out of jail before Christmas.
Daniel Hernandez or Tekashi is presently in the court trial for various charges against him. He was arrested last year when he was found guilty of carrying illegal weapons along with suspicion of his involvement in the nine tray Gang activities. He was also in legal issues earlier, for one of which he was on probation when he was found guilty for childhood sexual performance.
As per the latest sources, the rapper might get released sooner than expected. His sentencing date was set for January 24, 2020, by the court, but his lawyers worked hard to get him a date earlier and set it prior to the Christmas festival, which was successful giving full support to the news that, Tekashi might celebrate his Christmas with his fans. Reportedly, the new sentencing date is set for December 18, 2019.
The rapper and singer were sentenced to jail for a period of 47 years but, in order to reduce his punishment, Tekashi has helped the government to find about all Nine Tray gang members.
The decision of change in date came when a jury found Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack guilty on several counts that include kidnapping, drug dealing, and racketeering. Despite fake kidnapping by Tekashi in order to promote his song with Nicki Minaj, Harv was found guilty and is now facing imprisonment. Besides the two, 69’s ex-manager, Kifano “Shotti” Jordan, is already serving 15 years in prison.
As a result of Tekashi’s cooperation with the government, he has been offered witness protection in return for his testimony. However, sources tell, 69 nine will opt to continue his rap career instead because he thinks that he will be more popular than ever after his release from jail.
