A 21-year-old man accused in the death of an NJ lady during rough car sex told a friend that the 19-year-old “wanted to be choked,” court documents show.
According to court records, Francis Victoria Garcia and the suspect Michael Gaffney, of Maywood, had met through mutual friends and then chatted on social media before planning to go to a wild Halloween party Friday night.
The court documents stated that the two evaded out of the party on the 14th floor of a luxury high-rise apartment complex, at 140 Prospect Ave. in Hackensack, on early Saturday morning to the parking garage to“hang out” in her car.
At one time through their 20-minute sex romp in her back seat, Gaffney choked Garcia, the court papers stated. The papers say that after the woman had passed out, Gaffney called his friend to come down to the car.
According to the documents, the friend told police that Garcia’s “lips were purple” however “he could feel air coming out of her nose.” Gaffney said the friend, “I choked her because She wanted to be choked,” the court papers reveal.
According to the court documents, Police got a 911 call about Garcia just before 2:15 a.m. and charged Gaffney with wild manslaughter by Saturday night. Garcia’s blood-alcohol level was three times higher than the legal limit and she died due to “neck compression,” the medical examiner ruled.
