Joshua Dow, ‘is brothers and his girlfriend, ‘Jensen’ (whom he killed), was in downtown Minneapolis that night when she left the brothers around 2:30 a.m. and proceeded back to Dow’s place in north Minneapolis. The pair had separated but still did things mutually.
As per the reports, Jensen was shot around 5:00 a.m that morning. Dow carried Jensen’s dead body at a nearby warehouse where he kept it in a locker. He amputated the body and hid the remains at different locations.
Investigators say he also urged his brother to assist him in cutting up a couch with Jensen’s blood on it and dispose of that evidence.
Dow is currently serving his term in prison after being booked in 2016 for meddling with a dead body and first-degree narcotics trade. He was just three months from a likely discharge when he cited guilty to Jensen’s murder.
He is currently in jail on separate charges and will add a 20-year punishment to his stay, after a deal to plead guilty in the murder of his girlfriend.
Joshua Dow admitted that he killed Adelle Jensen, who was also the mother of his child.
“This is a very good outcome for Ms Jensen’s family and for justice in general,” said Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman in a written statement. “It was a difficult case because we did not have Ms Jensen’s body. But Mr Dow realized that the unremitting investigation by Minneapolis police had put together an excellent circumstantial case which we could use to convince a jury of his guilt successfully. He did the right thing by pleading guilty.”
