Loki and WandaVision will be necessary to understand the Multiverse of Madness.
With the arrival of the fourth phase of the MCU, the Marvel universe will expand the narrative of its deliveries in unexpected ways. Proof of this is Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, which will give the MCU its first horror film. Similarly, Marvel characters will jump to the small screen with various series on the Disney + platform. Regarding this, Kevin Feige explained that the programs that appear in the streaming service will be indispensable to understand the next films of the MCU.
In an interview with Bloomberg, Marvel’s CEO talked about the next phases of the MCU and the significance of the upcoming series to be released. If you want to understand everything in future Marvel movies, you may want to get a subscription for Disney +, because the events of the new programs will be an important factor in upcoming installments such as Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness. The Scarlet Witch will be a key character in that movie, and Loki will also knot in some way. I don’t know if we have declared this before, but it will be so.
Since Wanda Maximoff will be transcendental in the Multiverse of Madness, it makes sense that WandaVision is key to understanding the tape. However, it is a bit more confusing to understand how Loki will relate to the movie. At the same time, considering that this last series will happen in one of the alternate universes that were created in the course of Endgame, perhaps Multiverse of Madness be seen about Stephen Strange and the Scarlet Witch trying to tidy up all the universes that were created from of the Gems of Infinity. However, there is nothing confirmed.
On the other hand, it should be noted that Marvel had already promised to integrate other series into the MCU, without achieving it every time. That happened with Agents of SHIELD, starring allegedly dead Phil Coulson. While the series coexisted coherently with the MCU for some time, eventually both timelines separated completely.
It is also the case of Netflix series such as Jessica Jones, The Punisher and Daredevil, which were supposed to eventually enter the MCU, but were canceled. However, Loki and WandaVision will include characters that have already been essential for other types of the Marvel universe, so Feige’s report should not be taken lightly.
The news comes at a bad time for Latin America because it is not yet known exactly when Disney+ will arrive in these countries. It is expected to arrive at the end of 2020 or in the first quarter of 2021. For its part, the platform will be officially launched in the United States on November 12.
