Laurel Griggs a Broadway star has died, according to the multiple reports. She was only 13. Griggs has died on November 5th and her funeral service was held three days later of her death, according to some of our sources. Though, the cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
Griggs made has made her Broadway debut when she was six years old as Polly’ in Rob Ashford’s musical production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof in the year 2013, as an opponent of Scarlett Johansson.
Laurel was best known for her role in the Tony Award-winning musical ONCE” as Ivanka. She has performed the same role for 17 months between the time period of 2013 and 2015.
After which in 2016, Laurel appeared in the romantic comedy Cafe Society alongside Blake Lively, Steve Carell and Kristen Stewart. She has also been featured in several episodes of Saturday Night Live.
Eliza Holland Madore, who has also been roled as Ivanka in ONCE, has paid tribute to Laurel on Instagram with a post saying that. “I am totally shocked by the sudden loss of one of my Ivanka sisters. Laurel- you were always smiling and cheerful. You always made other people laugh too with you,” “I’m so incredibly grateful that I got to know you. You will never be forgotten by any one of us, and we will never stop loving you. Everyone related to Once Family is going to keep you alive through us. R.I.P. And my heart go for her family members.” Eliza added up.
