Shocking NCIS Exit: Star Of The First Hour Leaves Spin-Off

Attention, spoiler for Season 6 of Navy CIS: New Orleans: Since launching the NCIS spin-off Navy CIS: New Orleans in 2014, Lucas Black, who became famous for The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, was the Special Agent Christopher Lasalle.

In the recently broadcast 6th episode of Season 6 with the original title Matthew 5: 9, Agent Lasalle sets out to avenge his dead brother when he himself is brutally gunned down. In a video on Instagram, the actor now confirmed his exit from the series and took the opportunity to thank the fans for their support.

In the video, Black not only thanks to the fans for their many years of support, but also pays tribute to the military:

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your love and support. You were there to celebrate the achievements and helped me when I needed it, I appreciate that very much.”

“It was a great honor for me to play Special Agent Lasalle, a figure in law enforcement and military. I have learned a lot about what First Responders do and have great respect for you. I support the military and appreciate what you do for us.”

NCIS: New Orleans – Exit for The Fast and the Furious?

The reason for Lucas Black’s sudden exit could be a possible major role in the Fast & Furious franchise. Most recently, he was listed on Comic Book as a returner for the Fast & Furious 9, which was set to launch in 2020, after performing the role of Sean Boswell in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and starring in Fast & Furious 7.

A previous report from Deadline also indicated that Black would be more involved in the upcoming Fast & Furious films.
