Season 4 of Stranger Things is happening. Three months after the third season premiere, Netflix renewed the show. That’s not a surprise. Netflix not only wants to keep Stranger Things franchise but The Duffer Brothers and all the other people who do Stranger Things do. If not, why keep the dreams of Jim Hopper’s survival alive and bring Demogorgon back into the world? The Duffers themselves have previously stated that they had a preliminary plan for a fourth season.
“Stranger Things” is an American Netflix Science Fiction Horror Web series. In the fictional city of Hawkins, Indiana, in the eighties, the series is followed by a group of nerdy teenagers who went with Eleven to defend their town and the world.
No release date was set, and it’s hard to say when season 4 will premiere Stranger Things. The first two seasons took place in October with Season 3, which took a little longer and finally came first on July 4, 2019.
A research on the number of episodes in Season 4 also suggests that filming begins in January, possibly in August. If this proves to be accurate, then a regular summer season release is probably impossible in 2020.
It is not hidden that the most potent weapon of Stranger Things is its cast. It should also be taken for granted that all the characters remaining in Season 4 are back, which means roles to Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Natalia Dyer, Noah Schnapp, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, and Sadie Sink.
Recurring actors and new additions such as Brett Gelman, Priah Ferguson, Maya Hawke, and perhaps even Cary Elwes could return.
There is nothing for a season without David Harbour. Based on the 3 post-credit scene of the Stranger Things season, it is probably safe to assume that everybody’s favorite taciturn leader will return.
As we left Hawkins, we saw Joyce, her sons Will and Jonathan loading their houses together with Eleven into a moving van. It means that in Season 4, the gang is split, and the series for the first time moves away from Hawkins.
Jonathan and Nancy reconciled during the third season after tensions, but could we see them pursuing a long-distance relationship in the future?
During a new interview, the makers of the Duffer brothers heard more about “portals,” which can get the characters in different worlds from Hawkins, Indiana.
There have also been more fan theories about what will go down on our fourth ride to Hawkins. One Reddit user has some pretty big ideas about the next series and claims that a massive nuclear disaster is at the forefront of the story.
We assume in particular that the 1986 Chernobyl power plant disaster would ignite Twelve. The hypothesis is that in October 1985, just six months before the tragedy of April in the following year, Season 3 began. The new theory is that the drama could even be created to cover up a conflict between Elven and the spies. It’s also connected with Russian spies introduced in the latest season.
The Russians provide the probability of such a tale in season 3 with reactors of the same kind as to open gates. It also goes back to the idea that Jim Hopper is not dead and is listed “the American” in the mid-loan sequence of season 3.
