St Louis Man Shot Teens With Gun Who Allegedly Stole His Car, Charged

About The Incident

A man is arrested by the police after he shot two teenagers because they allegedly stole his car. 31-year-old Dwayne Young facing jail time, and the teens are in stable condition after being hospitalized. A third teenager was also involved in the incident. The shooting took place on May 9, 2020, around 9 a.m. in the 9800 blocks of Scottdale Drive.

Police Hunt Down The Shooter

Police recently opened up about the incident; they said after his car was stolen, the man managed to found his vehicle with the help of the GPS. Then he saw that there are three teenagers present in his 2013 Volkswagen Passat.

Then Young picked out his gun and started firing. According to the cops, all the teenagers escaped from the vehicle, but Young continued to shoot, and in the gun firing, the two teenagers with the age of 16-year-old and 14-year-old injured.

Then the police succeeded in catching the man Dwayne Young, and they also discovered the other teenager of age 17-year-old Kesean Mims. According to police, Mims confessed to running the stolen Passat and present in the car at the moment of the shooting.

Charges And Punishments

The man Young is now in prison and facing charges of two counts of first-degree attack and two counts of well-armed criminal action. The teenager Mims is facing the charges of one count of tampering with a car.
