Lucifer Season 6: Has The Creator And Writers Hints New Details About The Final Season?

Netflix took the best decision when it acquired the Lucifer series after Fox dropped it. It has created an enormous fan base and popular around the globe. It reveals the story of the devil who started liking to live on Earth after he escapes from hell. Later he falls in love with a detective. It has received acclaim from the critics for the story, acting, and direction. When season 5 announced by Netflix, it was declared that it would be the final one as per the creators.

But now Lucifer is again saved by the love of audiences, and Netflix revealed that soon it will be the final season. Recently there are some important details revealed for the sixth and final season, keep reading to know more:

Creator And Writers On Season 6

So, the rumors of a new season prove true and Netflix made the official announcement for the sixth season. Our original cast members and the showrunners are returning for the ultimate season. Recently the creator and the writers attend a virtual meeting for the sixth season. Creator  Ildy Modrovich recently shared an image of the writer’s room and also shared details for the final season. By seeing her post it is confirmed that season 6 is in the early stage of development and writers are working on its script.

Release Date

A release date is not set for the final season of the supernatural series. As it is still in the early stage of development, so it will take a very long time to release on Netflix. There is already two part of the fifth season left to release. The first part is slated to release on Netflix on 21st August 2020.

Then part 2 of season 5 will take plenty of time to arrive as the production is suspended due to coronavirus outbreak. So we cannot expect the sixth season earlier. There are chances that it will release sometime in 2022.

Only Tom Ellis is confirmed to return in the sixth season as Lucifer Morningstar. We can also see these stars in it:  Lauren German as Detective Chloe Decker, Kelvin Alejandro as Detective Daniel “Dan” Espinoza, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez, Lesley Ann Brandt as Mazikeen, DB Woodside as Amenadiel, and Rachael Harris as Dr. Linda Martin. No plot details as the writers are working on the script of the sixth season.
