Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom plot is an upcoming American superhero film, based on DC comics. The plot follows the events after Aquaman(2018). The film is a sequel to Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa in the lead role. The sequel stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry / Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Orm Marius / Ocean Master, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta. It’s being directed by James Wan with a screenplay written by Will Beall. It is scheduled to be released in theaters in December 2022.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will be produced by Peter Safran. The production was in high gear after filming began in Australia last year January. Production began in May 2020 and will end in November 2021. The film is being produced by Peter Safran, with James Wan serving as executive producer.

Filming locations include Australia’s Gold Coast at Village Roadshow Studios, Queensland; Newfoundland and Labrador for a recreation of the Sahara Desert; Sicily to represent Atlantis; Namibia & South Africa’s South African coast for the town of Vulko; and on the coasts of Lebanon, Iceland & Morocco.

Aquaman made almost $335 million worldwide in its first week. The film is expected to earn $500 million+ worldwide.

Plot for Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom:
Arthur Curry learns that he is the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, and must step forward to lead his people against an ancient enemy in this Warner Bros. adventure directed by James Wan (The Conjuring). Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman will be back on board with James Wan directing again. Aquaman plot this time sees Arthur Curry discovering his true origins as he embarks on a journey to find out more about both himself and where he comes from following reports that Atlanteans are being mysteriously killed.
Aquaman’s plot continues where the previous film left off. Aquaman must battle his half-brother Orm to retain control of Atlantis after some members of the newly formed Atlantean Senate are not pleased with how he has handled certain affairs, especially involving humans.
