The plot of this series depends upon Barbara Gordon’s transfer from computer expert to superheroine. She has been employed by the metropolitan police department. In this series, she is charged with tracking down a band of jewel thieves that only strikes when there is no moonlight in Gotham City. This group includes the one called The Jeweler, who has managed to elude capture even by Batman himself as she becomes obsessed with finding this jewel thief and putting him behind bars.
