When Jacqueline is murdered it becomes a race to find out which of them did the deed and why, before they strike again.

Death on the Nile is a sequel to Murder on the Orient Express. It was announced that Kenneth Branagh would direct and act in the film. The production for film began in January 2019 and concluded by May of that year.

Most of the filming took place in England, but it did include some scenes shot on location by Lake Nasser and at Longcross Studios.

The Plot for Death on the Nile:

The plot for Death on the Nile follows a famous detective, Hercule Poirot. In this story, he is asked by Linnet Ridgeway to travel with her and her friends from Cairo to England, but when their boat stops in Nasser they find that Linnet’s friend and potential fiancée Simon Doyle has fallen overboard and died. They want to go and inform the police, but when they get there it’s revealed that the detective in charge is not Hercule Poirot.

The plot for Death on the Nile is very similar to its predecessor, Murder on the Orient Express. The plot follows a group of passengers who are spending time onboard a cruise ship traveling down the River Nile in Egypt. One night, one of their fellow passengers ends up being murdered and everyone has some kind of motive as to why they would have killed her.

It becomes a mystery for Hercule Poirot to solve and he begins his own investigation into the murder in order to figure out who is responsible. Death on the Nile plot would include a number of twists and turns, as well as some romance.

What to Expect?

Expectations for the show are high due to the success of Murder on the Orient Express; however, there is concern that it will not live up to its predecessor because it follows such an iconic movie plot.

The audience seems to be pleased that the Death on the Nile plot does not follow too closely in its predecessor’s footsteps while staying true enough for audiences who enjoyed the plot of Murder on the Orient Express plot to enjoy it as well.
