Dragon Ball Super: Superhero is a new dragon ball movie, due to be released in 2022. The teaser has been released and it was announced that the release date would be anytime soon. This dragon ball film will feature all of your favorite dragon ball characters including Goku, Vegeta, Yamcha, Krillin, and more! Dragon Ball Super follows the original Dragon Ball manga as it focuses on the iconic character, Goku. It takes place during the time jump after Majin Buu is taken down. In this iteration, Goku has gained god powers and is learning how to control these new incredible abilities.
When taking into consideration all of the films across the franchise, there are a total of twenty anime films. However, there’s currently only one in the Super universe, titled Dragon Ball Super: Broly, which was released in 2018. The next installment “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” was announced earlier this year.
Plot Summary of “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero”
In 2022, the new Dragon Ball film will be released titled “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.” This movie is a continuation of the story in the anime series and manga. The first installment was aired on December 30th, 2018.
It takes place shortly after Majin Buu’s defeat at Goku’s hand. In this iteration, Goku has gained god powers and he is learning how to control these new incredible abilities when suddenly his son Goten comes flying into him out of nowhere as they are playing outside with friends.
They both transform into their dragon ball forms but instead of fighting each other like usual, they team up against an unknown force that’s attacking them from all sides- which turns out to be robot crabs called Bloodline Soldiers who were created by the dragon-like alien, Syn Shenron.
Goku’s son Goten comes into contact with a strange energy that transforms him into an invincible fighter and the only one who knows how to defeat Goku or his family is Gohan! But when Gohan learns where the boy got his power from he must choose between saving himself and stopping evil forces!” Once again Akira Toriyama has created another exciting chapter in his legendary dragon ball universe which fans are anxious and excited to see in the new dragon ball super: superhero movie.
