For now, we don’t have the exact release dates. Because Disney + has not revealed any official information regarding this. But, the movie was first announced way back in August 2019. Then the sequel was confirmed during Disney’s Investor day presentation in December 2020. Since then fans are waiting for the release date announcements. Nevertheless, the movie will be released in the Autumn of 2022.

The official announcement of the sequel was done by Kathy Najimy, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Bette Midler through their Instagram accounts. So, the three witches will be back in the sequel. However, the Hocus Pocus sequel is not going to be a reboot or remake of the 1993 Hocus Pocus movie. It will pick up from where it had ended.
What can we expect in the sequel?
Three young women have to stop the Sanderson sisters from wreaking havoc in the world. . Which means that all our favorite characters are back in action including Sarah Jessica Parker’s character which was dead for a long time now! The witches have returned with their powers intact after 300 years in exile only to find that kids no longer believe in magic so they need to re-possess some students at Halloween high school before midnight when their powers will vanish again.

Is the movie worth watching?
Yes, it is the best Halloween movie of all time. The movie has fan base all over the world. This is the favorite movie of kids as well as adults. It has an amazing cast and crew. Hocus Pocus will be available on Disney + streaming service starting 2019! Also, there are rumors that it might be getting a theatrical release as well but this hasn’t been confirmed yet so stay tuned for more updates.
