Currently, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is getting ready to welcome a brand-new group of comic book industry veterans. Hugh Jackman, who is making his MCU debut as Wolverine and reappearing as part of the “Fantastic Four” in their standalone reboot, is also in the running. The actor has loudly thundered his confirmation of his appearance in “Deadpool 3” alongside Ryan Reynolds. But no information hasn’t been released about his character’s future after the threequel. The actor is the one discussing it. Hugh will return as Logan in “Deadpool 3”, where he has already said that he is a member of Wade Wilson’s team but is displeased with it. He intends to punch him repeatedly and will do so in the head. So, we have enough fascinating information regarding the movie. But who will inform us if this is Wolverine’s only appearance or if there are more to come?

What is “Avenger – Secret Wars” in comics?

Even though Secret Wars is a renowned comic book series, the story originally began with a line of toys produced by Mattel in the middle of the 1980s. A tie-in plot uniting several Marvel characters was required by Mattel to facilitate the development of some substantial playsets. Jim Shooter, a writer for Marvel, came up with the answer: Secret Wars. According to the plot, a cosmic troublemaker by the name of The Beyonder transported more Marvel heroes and villains than a Kays catalog could hold to a place called “Battleworld,” where they all engaged in combat using cool weapons and vehicles.

This 12-issue comic book series spanned multiple different comic book titles. Decades later, in 2015, it was followed by a massive sequel/reboot. In the more modern tale, the ruins of various Marvel universes that had been decimated by Incursions were combined to create a new Battleworld, where each universe had its distinct geographical region. This series only had nine issues in its core, however, there were at least 250 issues in other series that were somehow related to it.

Hugh Jackman hints at future MCU roles

Jackman said that this is how he’s viewed all of his “Wolverine” films since the beginning when asked if he saw his MCU role in “Deadpool 3” as “a one-and-done.” Before the release of 2000’s X-Men, all he had was “a two-picture agreement,” and ever since, he has solely considered each film individually while it is being developed.

Huge Jackman in “Avenger – Secret wars”

Even having nine X-Men films under his belt already, Hugh Jackman makes it plain in his statements on his time as Wolverine that each new appearance is treated on a case-by-case basis. However, with the actor’s return to the franchise being guaranteed for “Deadpool 3”, speculation inevitably turns to whether he’ll have a part to play in Marvel Studios’ most ambitious film to date, which will see the Multiverse unleashed. Avengers 6 won’t hit theatres for more than three years, giving Marvel plenty of time to talk to Jackman and other actors as this mammoth production comes together. Although that announcement alone is driving fans into a frenzy as the Multiverse Saga progresses, his presence in Deadpool has not yet been confirmed.

In the Conclusion

Talks are already underway regarding what may follow, but it would be surprising if Jackman had a major part in Avengers 6 or another film. This could all change, however, depending upon the reception of that movie.

Hugh Jackman hasn’t confirmed that he’ll appear in the next “Avengers” film and while he’s hinted at his prospects for future MCU roles, it’s more likely he’ll sign up for a minor role in “X-Men: New Mutants” or “Deadpool 3” rather than a leading one in another Marvel team-up flick. The actor has made it clear that he prefers his time as Wolverine to be limited rather than spread over numerous titles that have nothing to do with one another.
