Disney+ has just released the first Ice Age: Scrat Tales photos! The photos give us a sneak peek at what to expect from the upcoming movie. Along with the photos, Disney+ has also released a poster for the movie. Ice Age: Scrat Tales is set to be released in April 2022. Here’s the first poster:
The film will be a spin-off of the Ice Age films. It will focus on Scrat, the saber-toothed squirrel looking for his ever-elusive acorn. It’s been a long journey for Scrat to find his acorn in all four films. The little creature always seems to get in the way. In some of those cases, he causes just about every problem! This series will be released on January 28, 2022. Also, the series has been renewed for 2 more movies. They will be released in 2024 and 2025.
There are 2 stars on the poster. Scrat and Manny are seen together in one photo. Both of their heads are cut out of their bodies to reveal their faces. They’re looking at something up ahead in the deep forest of ice age! What will it be? The Acorn! Will they find it? We have no idea.

What are the Ice Age movies about, and who are the main characters?
The Ice Age movie is about a gang of animals who live in a time when the world is covered in ice. They all struggle to survive and discover that other creatures are not as friendly as they would have hoped. This is a story of friendship and trust; without it, you could never defeat the evil that lies.
The main characters are Manny (a wooly mammoth), two smaller mammoths named Ellie and Diego, Ellie’s adoptive brother Sid the sloth, a saber-tooth tiger named Diego (who is Manny’s friend), a screech owl named Scrat who annoys other animals in search for his acorn by trying to bury it all over again, Buck (a human) and his wooly mammoth wife Peaches.
Who do you think would win in a fight between Manny and Diego, or Sid and Scratte?
Like the answer above, it’s hard to say. Diego is a tough tiger, and Sid is a strong sloth, so it will be interesting to find out whose strength would win in a fight. The fight would probably be between Diego and Scratte.
Do you think Scrat is bad for the animals? If so, why?
Because he annoys other animals in his attempts to find his acorn. He disturbs their homes and tries to bury their acorns all over again. He steals food and chews rocks, which is bad for them. It’s also annoying when he goes into other animals’ homes looking for his acorn, even though they don’t have it with them!
What do you think will be the first thing Manny and Manny do?
It seems like Manny (the wooly mammoth) will have problems getting out of bed in the morning when they start their journey, so this would be an excellent time for him to forget about his acorn and get up first. Then Manny, Peaches, and Buck will chase after him.
How would you react if your favorite character (who is not Scrat) dies?
I wouldn’t mind if they die if it’s in the movie. Characters don’t usually die, but some do in movies like this. It has both sad and happy endings, so I think it’s good for kids to watch because it teaches them to not be afraid of death when they are older. You need to learn about life when you’re young, so it doesn’t mean as much when people you know are gone from your life.

What was your favorite scene or moment in any of the movies?
The scene that is my favorite from any of the Ice Age movies is when Ellie said to Manny, “Ice Age! Remember when we saw it last year?” That made me laugh out loud because it’s so funny! The first Ice Age movie was made in 2002, so this series has been going on for a long time. The second movie was much better than the first, but since then they have made a better one every year. I think they are doing a great job making sequels!
