In April 2022, DC Comics will kill off the Justice League in a controversial move that has fans of the superheroes up in arms. The decision to end the team of iconic characters was made by DC Comics executives after a long and heated debate about the future of the company. In an interview with ComicBook.com, a spokesperson for DC Comics said that “we feel like it’s time for a new direction, and killing off the Justice League is our way of signalling that change.”
The post went on to say that “we have a lot of new characters with great story potential. It will be exciting to see what new stories we can tell without the iconic Justice League.” The decision has been met with both praise and criticism from fans, with the bad-ass team of heroes being described as DC Comics’ “crown jewels.”
Though it’s not uncommon for superhero teams to meet untimely ends, it is unusual for a company to pull the trigger on killing off its flagship characters. However, in an industry that seems obsessed with reboots and relaunches, killing off such a popular group of characters makes sense.

My favourite justice league member is Superman because he is an alien who came from planet krypton. I will love to watch him fighting with other enemies. It has great superpowers that can destroy a whole town or city. The series Justice league features more the 5 superheroes.
What was your favourite scene in the Justice League movie and why?
My favourite scene is when Superman saves the city from getting wrecked by the underwater creature. I love watching what he does for his friends and his other mission as well. Also, he tried to rescue the plane with his superpowers.
What made you want to watch Justice League?
I want to see the story of the heroes because they are really different from what I expected. I also wanted to watch them fight against an enemy that is more powerful than them. It looks most interesting for me to watch it on TV, unlike movies or cartoons. Also, a superhero can be dangerous when he is angry and tries to destroy everything just because of his anger or jealousy.

Justice League is the most anticipated action pack superhero series in 2016. This amazing movie will feature the five greatest superheroes in one film showing what they can do when they are working together towards a common goal. What do you think about the new direction of the DC Extended Universe?
The dark universe is completely different from the Marvel one. A dark superhero film will be released in 2016 but it won’t be as spectacular as the Marvel one. I am expecting the dark series to get better and better. Also, the DC Extended Universe has a budget for its film and it makes it significant to watch and enjoy because of its amazing debut on August 5, 2016.
How was your first DC Comics experience?
It looks more interesting and spectacular because of the superheroes who are fighting with an enemy for the first time. Also, I like watching action movies that show action scenes that have no sound effects so I can watch them in my free time. Everyone has his own favourite hero characters in the movie and everyone wants to know about their secret identity. Also, Batman seems to be boring in the movie because he looks like a coward when he is not wearing his costume and mask. Another character that stands out is Superman because of his superpowers.
