The plot of John Wick 4 is shrouded in mystery, but it will focus on the events that take place after the end of John Wick 3. Keanu Reeves has confirmed his return as the lead actor for this film, and other big names like Laurence Fishburne have signed on to co-star with him. Chad Stahelski, who was one of the directors for films 1 & 2, will also be returning to direct this installment. Filming began in New York City last month so expect more news soon!
About John Wick:
John Wick is a series of action thriller films about an assassin who gets drawn out from retirement to seek revenge on those who took away everything he loved most in life. It stars Keanu Reeves as the titular character, with Ian McShane playing his mentor and Willem Dafoe as a fellow assassin. John Wick: Chapter Four is confirmed to be in production and has started filming on May 13th, 2019.

Chapter Three starts filming in Montreal later this year, with John Wick reprising his role as the leading man once again! Chad Stahelski will direct and break out screenwriter Derek Kolstad is back to pen a follow-up script with Basil Iwanyk producing.

It went on to make over $88 million worldwide against a production budget of just under $20 million, which is pretty good for an R-Rated film! This led to the announcement of a sequel which came out in 2017. Chapter Two was met with positive reviews and even more box office success than the original movie, making over $171 million worldwide! Now that is impressive for an R-Rated film – especially one that costs just under $40 million to make.
The Plot:
John Wick is the top assassin in New York City, but when a plot to take out all of his fellow assassins fails, it causes him to be on the run from powerful gangsters. With no other choice, he must obey them for one last job before getting revenge and going back into retirement.
The plot of the second movie picks up a few days after Chapter one ends. John Wick is still on the run from assassins, and when Santino D’Antonio resurfaces, he believes that killing him will help get his life back to normal. Unfortunately for our hero, this doesn’t work out quite as planned!
The Starring Cast:

- Other noteworthy castings include Halle Berry playing a character named Sofia, who is rumored to be some kind of ‘Henchman’ for an evil crime lord.
