The Moon Knight series may be returning for a second season. Moon Knight is Marvel’s cape-clad vigilante with a massive sword, who’s also been accused of being a psychopath. The series began and starred Alex Maleev as their Daredevil: Black Widow co-creator, who took over the comic book. It was canceled before the first season concluded but it looks like it could come back again. The show’s been renewed for a second season after receiving a full season pick-up, but they’re considering making Moon Knight’s romance with his childhood sweetheart Jeri Hogarth the central plot of Season 2.

The Moon Knight series was one of Marvel’s biggest surprises in the last year. It starred Benedict Samuel as the titular character, who is resurrected after nearly dying, and he immediately goes on a murder spree that he claims is fueled by killing the people responsible for his near demise. It’s very violent and very adult in tone, much like most of their Netflix series’ are these days.
