Paramount Pictures unveiled the trailer for the upcoming series The Harper House, and the show is definitely not what you would expect. From the Paramount+ team comes an adult comedy that centers on a woman who moves her family from the rich side to the poor side of town in Arkansas after losing her job.

This new home has plenty of secrets though, and it’s up to Debbie Harper (Rhea Seehorn) and her family of oddballs to uncover them all so they can restore their house to its former glory.

Plot Summary of “The Harper House”

“The Harper House” is more of an adult comedy to be aired by Paramount+. The show centers on the overconfident female head of a household, who struggles to regain the family’s higher status after losing her job and moving from the rich side to the poor side of town in Arkansas.

The Harper House is an old residence known as “the house that time forgot” with plenty of secrets buried within its walls. To restore their home to its former glory, the family of oddballs must uncover all the secrets in the house.

It was announced on Friday that Paramount+ will be airing The Harper House on September 16th. The adult comedy features the overconfident female head of a household and her family who move from the rich side to the poor side of town in Arkansas after losing their job and are struggling with living paycheck-to-paycheck which forces them into an inherited Victorian fixer-upper known as “The Harper House”.
