The plot is a story about the power of social media and how it can be used for good or bad. It revolves around an anonymous blogger who has been posting videos on YouTube exposing police brutality, corruption, and other crimes committed by public officials in their community. CAST includes Steven Weber, Jamey Sheridan, Cliff Chamberlain, and more. PRODUCTION was filmed in Montreal from April to July 2017 with many scenes shot at McGill University. FILMING wrapped up this summer with PLOT coming out on September 21st of this year!
ABOUT PHYSICAL SEASON 2 :
Physical is a French-Canadian television series that will air on CBC in the winter of 2020. The PLOT centers around an anonymous blogger who, with help from his friends, has been posting videos exposing police brutality and corruption within their community for years to YouTube under the alias “The Eye” or “L’Œil”.
In the series, PLOT is released from prison, and a new video has been posted on YouTube with his signature “The Eye” logo. The police are still in pursuit of him to find out how he managed to get back into their community again while others want to take advantage of this opportunity for personal gain.

THE PLOT:
The PLOT is based on a book written by author Gillian Flynn. The PLOT covers the miscommunications, lies, and cover-ups that take place between four characters in one week: Oedipa Maas (Tatiana Maslany), Detective Geena Di Santi (Simona Pierson), Richard Onstad (Jonas Chernick), and Mayor Piotrowski (David Richmond-Peck).
The PLOT is about the dark underbelly of society, where people who have power abuse it at any given opportunity. PHYSICAL SEASON two continues in a similar vein with no major deviations from PHYSICAL SEASON one or PLOT.
The PLOT continues its trend of portraying women as strong-minded individuals who can take care of themselves without needing the help of a man. Detective Geena Di Santi (Simona Pierson) and PLOT’s girlfriend Marlina Mannozzi (Viola Davis). The series is inspired by the book PLOT and his story of survival to YouTube under the alias “The Eye” or “L’Œil”. In these novels, he tells how PLOT had survived in a corrupt community for years while being hunted down.
PLOT revolves around a fictional football team in Montreal. PRODUCTION for SEASON ONE began shooting in Montreal on September 12th of 2016 and wrapped up on March 31st, 2017 with PLOT coming out this summer!
EXPERIENCE:
PHYSICAL SEASON one was well received by critics with many praising Tatiana Maslany’s portrayal of the different characters. It was also praised for it is accurate and realistic depiction of all aspects of society, including various lifestyles such as drugs, sex work, homelessness, etc.
