With the sudden death of Anton Yelchin in June of this year, the release date may be further delayed. This would allow for a proper tribute to Yelchin that could air before the new season. CBS may replace Yelchin’s position with another well-known star from the franchise.

This series will be released on 3 March 2022. Also, the series has been renewed for another season and will be released in 2020. Season 1 (or Season 2) will be a 12 episode season which is similar to the first of the current series “Star Trek: Discovery”. The main characters are as follows. In order of appearance:
Picard (Patrick Stewart), Riker (Jonathan Frakes), Guinan (Marina Sirtis), Data (Brent Spiner), and Dr. Crusher (Gates McFadden). Additional cast members include Charles “Trip” Tucker, Emily Swallow, and Ron Moore.

The season begins with Captain Kirk and Picard helping to fend off an invasion of the Federation. This season will focus on the post-finale life of Captain Picard and his journey to reconcile his past issues from Star Trek: The Next Generation. “Picard” picks up 20 years after “All Good Things…” which aired in 1994. The series will be moved to a new streaming service and a new cast, including Alison Pill as Dr. Agnes Jurati, is set to join the show. Other additions include Sonequa Martin-Green, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Santiago Cabrera, and Harry Treadaway.

What are your thoughts on the new season so far?
The thoughts about this series are still unknown because we don’t know official information about it. I will give my honest opinion and I don’t have to be cautious. To be honest I haven’t made a review on the series yet and it will not be a good idea because there is not much information on the series.
I think this season will be very good because there is a new cast and the cast of the first season of “Star Trek: Discovery”. I can’t wait to see what is planned for this season. Also, I have seen a trailer of the series and I’m very excited to see what will happen in this season.
What do you expect to be different in these new episodes?
I think that every episode will be different because it’s a new cast. They may re-structure some episodes or they might choose an episode from the original series but with a new cast.
To me, it is really hard to say anything about this because there is no official information about it but now I have made a review on the new season. We will be more informed on this series as soon as possible. What do you think of the new villains introduced in Season 2 so far?
The new villains are good because I like Simon Pegg. After all, he is a great actor. Also, I can predict that the next villain will be a Klingon that will be very hard to defeat with his powerful weapons. I’m looking forward to seeing how they will make Jonathan Frakes work in this new cast, he is a good actor but I think that they have chosen the wrong actor for this new cast, but I don’t know if it’s a plan or not.

Do you have any predictions for what might happen in the rest of Season 2 and beyond?
I wonder if Jonathan Frakes will take the place of Shran from “Star Trek: Enterprise” or will he take a villainous character like Garak? Also, I wonder if they will introduce a new villain who is a Klingon that will be hard to defeat with his powerful weapons. I think that everything will be the same as in the first season but this is a new cast so the series won’t be different from what we know. What will happen to these characters in the second season? Will they return? or have they passed? What happened to them because there are not many people who survived in the series.
I think that this series will be very good because it is a new cast and the cast of the first season of “Star Trek: Discovery”.
