At a Northern Illinois University New Year’s Eve party, Alana Maxwell is intimidated into participating in a prank, also she lures the shy and awkward pledge Kenny Hampson into a darkened room on the promise of a sexual liaison. The prank was a practical joke that was supposed to be targeted at Trevor Parker but ended up turning on Alana. The room has been wired with an explosive device, and Kenny reveals his knowledge of the prank to Alana.
The next day, Trevor’s girlfriend Abby tells him about the prank and insists that he is responsible for its success. Trevor’s guilt causes him to willingly confess; so does Abby, who is furious at Trevor for leading her on and ruining her reputation. Alana is disgusted by the incident and tells the story at an orientation meeting for pledges, which enrages Kenny.

What inspired the director to write Terror Train 2?
The film is inspired by Stephen King’s book “The Long Walk”, which is a story of a reality show titled The Long Walk, where the contestants had to walk across Death Valley to win a cash prize. The director says, “I’m a huge fan of Stephen King and the book is one of my favorites from him but, I didn’t want to do a straight adaptation. I wanted to take the core concept and mix it with my twists”.
