TLC renewing The Family Chantel:

The family’s main breadwinner, Pedro Souza, passed away in a tragic accident on December 14th, 2015, while working for his construction company. In 2016 production began for the third season of the TLC show “The Family Chantel.” There is no word on if the show has been renewed for any future seasons.

The cast of The Family Chantel:

Donna Souza, Pedro’s sister – is a single mother who lives in Conyers, Georgia, with her daughter Stephanie and son Johnathan. She works as an assistant manager at Walmart while also running her family business called “Souza Transportation.”

The cast does not look any different from how it did during season two, as far as we can tell through paparazzi photos. The only difference is that Pedro’s sister, Raquel has a new boyfriend.

The Plot:

It is unknown what the family has been up to since Pedro’s untimely death. Although, it seems like they are still running their food truck business outside of Walmart in Conyers, Georgia. It looks like Donna is now dating a man by the name of David. It is expected that the family will remain in Conyers until or unless they have a new business venture or Pedro’s sister moves to another state, possibly with her children Stephanie and Johnathan.

The series is about a young woman and her family living in Miami, Florida, who works at their businesses and go through many ups and downs together as they navigate life’s obstacles.

Expectations:

It can be expected that season three will have plenty of drama as Pedro and Elizabeth’s marriage becomes endangered with their family divided between two countries – the US and Mexico. In addition, the show will be focusing more on Mayela and her romantic life.
