The plot of the movie takes place in two timelines. The first timeline follows Barry Allen as he is trying to solve a series of murders. They are being committed by an unknown speedster who kills them. He then erases their existence from everyone’s memories. In this timeline, Iris West (played by Kiersey Clemons) has begun writing about these murders but is being discredited as a journalist.
The second timeline takes place after Barry disappears for about six months and comes back without his speed powers until he reaches into the negative matter that created the Flash in the first place to get them back! The plot of this movie has me very intrigued because it seems like they’re going to be tackling Flashpoint, which was a plotline in the comics.

The Plot:
Eddie Thawne, a detective in Central City Police Department, works alongside his partner and lover Iris West. The two are good friends with Barry Allen who’s also an assistant CSI at CCPD. As soon as he realizes who’s standing right in front of him, he tries to use the opportunity. He convinces this stranger to bring his mother back from death by using his supernatural abilities. However, things take a turn for the worst when Barry’s father is blamed for her murder!

On the plot, we can say that it is a very interesting and intriguing one. People have been giving mixed reviews for this movie so far. Most of them agree on saying that DC has another potential hit with The Flash. We were truly impressed by how many action scenes there are in this film considering its duration as well.
