THE PLOT:
The upcoming series is set in West Texas, where an unconventional preacher named Reverend Joe becomes convinced he has been chosen by God to act as his agent of vengeance. Perlman stars in the titular role, with Dana Delaney and Marisa Tomei co-starring as members of Reverend Joe’s congregation who are among those he believes have wronged him.
I always find it a little scary when I decide to watch something, and then there are so many reviews with mixed feelings. The plot sounds incredible! It’s based in West Texas, where the Reverend Joe believes he has been chosen by God himself, but does that mean Joe is crazy? Is his faith too strong or not enough for him? You’ll have to watch it and find out for yourself!

EXPECTATIONS:
This show is one of the more intriguing titles that Netflix can boast, while Perlman has a proven track record when it comes to playing offbeat characters. It’s really hard to tell if this will be worth watching or not until it premieres on February 15th, 2022.
Reviews:
The Hand Of God reviews have been mixed, with some critics praising its realistic depiction of a man who does not know if he is on the right side of his sanity while others have called it over-the-top and unoriginal.
