Production Details
As of January 10, 2020, filming was underway in the southern region of Otago, which includes the city of Dunedin. COVID-19 caused the film to be halted during production, but Cumberbatch, Dunst, and Plemons reportedly remained in New Zealand. Cast and crew were given border exemptions in June 2020, and production resumed.
