The series has been critically acclaimed, garnering praise from mainstream media outlets as well as mass audiences. In this volume of the series titled “Destiny”, we are introduced to Dream the first character in The Sandman. Under his will of doing great things for humanity and to bring death to the immortal Morpheus and his wife Death. He finds himself in a terrible situation when he is betrayed by his friend Destiny (now known as Lachesis).

The plot of this volume of “The Sandman” series is basically about a story that describes what happens to Dream due to the death of his wife. He lies in bed and ponders on the meaninglessness of death. He becomes sad at the loss of his wife and the fact that she has left him, he is truly devastated by her loss. Destiny, Love and Death enter into his room with Dim Carcosa, who also appears in all forms as an old man resembling Death, as well as a young girl who looks like Destiny and Love.

What is your favorite volume from The Sandman series?
I have an overall love for the volume titled “Destiny.” I truly love Dream’s story because it does a wonderful job about how we all have our own intrinsic powers within us and we may not be aware of them until we lose someone dear to us or something similar happens in our own lives.
Who are the directors favorite characters and why?
The favorite character of the director is Dream. This is because he is the main protagonist of this series and the director loves how he has made him look in terms of his appearance, despite being a young boy. The director also loves the character’s intellect and his ability to understand the complexities of dreams and nightmares.
What are the ratings of the Sandman series?
The ratings of the Sandman Series are generally good because of the great reviews it received from critics. However, there are some fans who found that the series was a bit too long for them, as well as its overall storyline although others have a totally different opinion about their favorite comic book.
What is your review on The Sandman?
The Sandman comics series is quite impressive overall despite its dark and gloomy stories. As I was reading it, I felt as if I was in a different place and time reading different stories with various plots. The beautiful artwork and design will appeal to readers especially those who like dark fantasy-themed graphic novels.
