The Sandman series is a collection of dark and whimsical fantasy-themed graphic novels which is written by renowned author Neil Gaiman. It is the first comic book to be nominated for the prestigious Hugo Award, and was also nominated for numerous other awards. The series has been critically acclaimed, garnering praise from mainstream media outlets as well as mass audiences. Under his will of doing great things for humanity and to bring death to the immortal Morpheus and his wife Death. He finds himself in a terrible situation when he is betrayed by his friend Destiny (now known as Lachesis).

The plot of this volume of “The Sandman” series is basically about a story that describes what happens to Dream due to the death of his wife. He lies in bed and ponders on the meaninglessness of death.  He becomes sad at the loss of his wife and the fact that she has left him, he is truly devastated by her loss. Destiny, Love and Death enter into his room with Dim Carcosa, who also appears in all forms as an old man resembling Death, as well as a young girl who looks like Destiny and Love.
