While 2021 came at us with many fantastic games – 2022 sure seems to be holding a promise of awesomeness as well. Thus, today, we present to you the golden list of top 10 games that have been causing a stir among gamers since 2019.

In the Valley of Gods

If you loved Firewatch you are going to adore this game even more! In the Valley of Gods, is a single-player first-person expedition developed and produced by the one and only “Campo Santo”. The crux of the game is to find hidden treasures in a far-off ancient land.  You will come out of it either rich & famous or will forever stay there buried with the dead.

It will be available on Microsoft Windows, Mac Operating Systems as well as on Linux.

CyberPunk 2077

This game is all about the style and being rad – thus the addition of the word “punk” to it. This role-playing video game was developed and produced by CD Projekt and will be available for three platforms; Play Station 4, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox One.

The coolest thing about the game is that its idea has been adapted from CyberPunk 2020, which was released in 1988 for the first time. In short, it is a legacy game, worth giving a shot.

The game is set in an open world and almost 57 years ahead of us in a dystopian Night city.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses

The first-ever fire emblem series game came out in the world in 1990 and people have been going crazy playing them ever since. Published by Nintendo and developed by Intelligent Systems – this game is going to make people roll in their cribs because who can go to sleep without playing this one?

It is a tactical role-playing game and is the 16th main title in the game series. It has very detailed graphics to make the game quite a realistic experience for the players.

Anthem

Anthem is an online multiplayer game filled with action and thrill for the players. The game is developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts and was released on February 22nd, 2019. Just like CyberPunk, it will also be available on Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, as well as on PlayStation 4.

The players in this game will act as nomads and travel outside their civilizations to explore the surrounding landscapes and whatnot.

Days Gone

Gaming fanatics marked April 26th, 2019 on their calendars to remind themselves of the amazing day they had to get this game. Because why wait for the spoiler after it has been released, right? Grab it the moment it is out.

It is an action as well as an adventure-induced game developed by the SIE Bend Studio published by Sony Interactive Entertainment.  If you do not have a Play Station 4 – maybe it’s time you either find a buddy who has one or buy yourself a PS4 since this game is only made for PS4 users and no one else. Hurtful, is it not?

Devil May Cry 5

The first part of this ongoing series game was released in August 2001. The latest one was released on March 8th, 2019 while a special edition was released in November 2020. Isn’t it great when the release dates are set and you can count days till then?

Published as well as developed by Capcom, it is an action-adventure hack & slash video game. (FYI, hack and slash is a type of game that pertains to combat). If you are into hunting demons and shooting out your aggression at the right place – this is your go-to game. While you will witness some faces from the past you will also end up meeting new ones.

Psychonauts 2

If you like to dwell in the world of supernaturals – this is just the game for you. Be it necromancy, levitation, telekinesis, or pyrokinesis – this game has it all.  To understand it better, you can always play the first part that was released back in 2005. It is a single-player game so you do not even have to convince a friend to accompany you.

Since this game is more story-based – it is best not to talk about the intricate details that might plunge away your interest – a little spoiler though. Raz, the main character, will uncover many things from his past including family history and the curse that still affects them.

Wasteland 3

This role-playing video game can be played in either mode; single-player as well as multi-player. Sounds fun, is it not? It is a sequel to Wasteland 2 so obviously, it going to have a lot of following up just make sure you come prepared.

This game will have turn-based combat rather than open combat and thus that is something worth a lot of attraction and interest. It takes place in a post-apocalyptic Colorado depicted as a freezing wasteland.

The Surge 2

Remember those Facebook posts that tell us how we are using up all our earthly resources and future would be tough, henceforth? Yes, well this game is a reality check about similar conditions. We, the humans, have sucked the life out of the earth itself and the environment is giving us nothing more than diseases. In short, humanity falls in this game and it is on you to make sure it survives. Can you do it?

Skull & Bones

Go out into an open world but not land! Ocean! The Indian Ocean to be precise. The game is designed to be a multi-player experience with breathtaking views. It gives you a chance to be the Jack Sparrow in the gaming realm. Be the pirate you have always dreamt of becoming and control the most powerful weapons on Earth … Warships!
