White House Down is one of the most underrated Roland Emmerich movies out there. It didn’t get great reviews when it came out, but I thought it was really good. If you’re looking for an action movie to watch, White House Down is a great choice. The plot is pretty simple – terrorists take over the White House and try to kill the president but it’s executed well and is very exciting to watch.
It has a great cast and I think Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx are great in their respective roles. The fact that the terrorists are led by a kid who isn’t even old enough to drive is funny and sad at the same time. John Larroquette was surprisingly good as the Speaker of the House and Maggie Gyllenhaal is hot as always.Â

I had the chance to watch this film on the “Myx” channel on June 28, 2013 and I am thankful to them for doing this coverage on our television screen.Â

This is a story about an incident that happened in Washington D.C. A group of terrorists are planning to destroy the White House to gain control of the USA. They were planning this attack for two years and everything was almost perfect so far but now, a man named John Cale has decided to stop them from their plans. He was able to get into their group as he planned another plan to kill President James Sawyer at the White House during the Independence Day celebration.

What did you think of the movie White House Down?
This movie is one of the best movies I have ever watched in my life, the legendary actor Channing Tatum did his job excellently, the director has spent a lot of time in making this movie and it was worth it. But, there are some small mistakes such as when they landed with a helicopter on the White House, they could have done better than that but overall it was great, I give this movie 8 out of 10 rating points.
Why do you think James Woods is playing a bad guy in this movie?
I think James Woods got a chance to face the President of America because Ben Asher is no longer on the list. This proves that James Woods is doing his job perfectly as an actor and he has spent a lot of time preparing for this role.
What do you think of the relationship between John Cale and Rachel Turner?
I think their relationship was kind of forced but it was still romantic because they have proven to each other that they are ready to die for the love that they have for each other. It was not a normal love story but it was not unusual either I’d give it 7 out of 10 points.

What do you think of President Benjamin Asher?
Ben Asher is a great politician and he knows how to be President but at the same time, he has been abandoned by his wife, so that proves that this actor is not just a great politician but at the same time, he is a good actor as well. I give him 9 out of 10 rating points.
What do you think of John Cale’s plan to save the president?
I think his plan was good but there are some flaws such as Rachel Turner who accidentally got involved with it the foresight was well planned by John Cale and he had chosen the right people for it. I give it 8 out of 10 points.
What do you think of the ending of White House Down?
As I have said before, I think the ending was kind of sad because the president was shot. But, the plan to save the president was well thought out by John Cale and he had saved him from getting murdered by spilling his blood on him so that they could take him out of harm’s way without letting them kill him.Â
