After “Man of Steel 2” was canceled. Many Marvel fans cast Henry Cavill as a different Marvel superhero or antihero. Henry Cavill as Superman is the best superman. He fit in that role. But after James Gunn cancels DC movies including “Man of Steel 2”, Marvel has a good chance to portray Henry Cavill as a Marvel character  Hyperion and Sentry are two more well-known fan casts that have since reappeared due to the DC news. Sentry, a frequent Marvel blunder resulting from an effort to duplicate the Super Soldier Serum, destroyed everyone’s memories of him to make them forget he existed. Oh, and his arch-enemy is the Void itself. He is a morally dubious version of Superman, as shown in his most memorable action when he splits Ares in two. Regarding Hyperion, a significant Squadron Supreme member, he was changed in Marvel’s MAX to be an alien raised by the government, which makes him sound a lot like Superman without the Kents.

Who is Hyperion?

Hyperion first appeared in “Marvel Super-Heroes” #18 (July 1972) and was created by Roy Thomas, Gerry Conway, and Gil Kane. Hyperion’s history is a convoluted mess of continuity errors. Following the events of “Infinity Gauntlet”, Thanos’ army of the living dead erased all traces of Hyperion from existence and replaced them with alternative histories. The various Hyperions became part of the Marvel Universe’s history, but the fact that they were all the same person made it difficult to keep track of them. In the “Crisis on Infinite Earths”, Hyperion dies and his soul merged with Eternity. As such, he becomes one with all reality. In “The Thanos Imperative”, Thanos makes an alien from his future contact with him to give him more information about his current actions.

Who is Sentry?

The Sentry first appeared in “Marvel Knights” #1 (September 1999), and it was created by Paul Jenkins and Jae Lee. The Sentry is a character compared to Superman, but for his dark and edgy nature. It’s worth noting that the ending of the second most recent miniseries was strongly influenced by the end of “Injustice” Just like Hyperion, the Sentry is another character that received an awkward retcon after Secret Wars. As part of the Omnipotent, the Sentry crushed Eternity’s rebellion and forced him to accept the “Secret Wars” reality. Sentry’s future self is the one that made him an ultimate warrior in the first place, along with giving him his powers.

Another Marvel fan cast for Henry Cavill

Miracleman is a more unpredictable option that is being considered. Miracleman is the British equivalent of Captain Marvel, just as Captain Britain is to Captain America in the United Kingdom. There are now more intriguing options, such as Henry Cavill playing Cyclops, the mutant instructor who fires laser beams at the X-Men academy. However, there is a different superhero that has red laser-eye beams, like Superman. Hercules, Wolverine, Mr. Fantastic, Exodus, and even Nova are further options.

Henry Cavill stated why he is not superman anymore.

Although Cavill recently made a cameo as the Man of Steel in Black Adam’s mid-credits scene, the actor clarified that his presence in the DCU movie occurred before Gunn and Peter Safran were hired to co-run DC Studios and create a new strategy for the shared universe.  “It’s sad news for everyone, and I just had a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran. After all, I won’t be coming back as Superman.” statement by Henry Cavill.

In the Conclusion,

We’ll have to wait and see if fans get their dream to see Cavill wear a shield instead of a cape, but during the past few years, we’ve seen Cavill succeed in non-superhero roles. Just consider “Mission Impossible”
