NBC has had a rough year when it comes to shows. They canceled Timeless after one season and reversed their decision days later following an outcry from the fans. Manifest, another high-concept NBC drama with a passionate fan base that started its run in the high-profile Monday 10 PM slot, also could get resurrected following its cancellation by the network.
NBC canceled the show after only one season. This is not the first time NBC has done this with Timeless and Manifest, both shows had a passionate fan base that was loud in their protest of the cancellation. We will have to wait and see what happens next but there could be more high-concept dramas on hold by NBC coming back for another chance at life!

It doesn’t seem like we will be getting “Manifest Season Four” anytime soon as the network has yet to make any major decisions about it. It is unclear whether Manifest will be renewed or not for a new season. There are complicating factors, most notably international distribution for the series. Netflix typically wants global rights for its originals, and Warner Bros TV already has sold Manifest internationally market by market (Season 3 just launched in the UK on Sky.)
