About the Movie “The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf”

The movie is an upcoming 2-D animated dark fantasy film for Netflix and it is been produced by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and directed by Kwang II Han. The movie serves as a spinoff of “The Witcher” series.

It is the story of Geralt of Rivia and witcher Vesemir.

Who is The Witcher?

Geralt is an expert monster, who travels the world looking for his lost love. In the movies, we experience the gripping tale of both sides of good and evil.

The storyline of “The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf.”

The story is set in a dark world created by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. Geralt, the monster hunter has been trained to slay monsters and prey on humans. “Witchers” are always feared as freaks among creatures like elves and dwarves as they have human bodies. But, they can come to resemble other races through hardcore training.

The movie is set at a point where Geralt is on the verge of succumbing to the violence that has always been a part of his life- will show what’s more important to him.

Plot Summary of “The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf”

The witcher Geralt of Rivia is the protagonist in this film and it starts with him giving a mission to his apprentice, Vesemir. It also follows Geralt’s nemesis Siegfried as he tries to revive the witchers who were killed by King Radovid V.

The cast of “The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf”

Though we do not know more about the cast of the upcoming movie, it is confirmed that Kim Bodnia will be starring as Vesemir in voice acting.
