Season eight was released in October 2017 and saw a plot that focused on the Green Arrow’s decision to run for mayor. Rating:

It also holds IMDb’s plot summary at “After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. When he returns home to Starling City, his devoted mother Moira, much-beloved sister Thea, and best friend Tommy welcome him home, but they sense Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island.”
Expectations:
The plot summary on IMDb is exactly the same as season eight, which could be a sign that they’re running out of ideas for this show. This year’s Arrowverse crossover will also see Batwoman join in with heroes such as The Flash and Supergirl to take down evil forces, but it is unknown what role she’ll play in the plot of Arrow season nine.
