The show follows a former marine and hitman named Barry living in Los Angeles who decides to become an actor, the entire season is about his journey as he tries to make it in Hollywood. Set in Los Angeles, Barry follows failed actor and devout Catholic, Barry Berkman as he hits bottom after losing yet another role opposite a former lover. With nothing left to lose, he starts taking acting classes and auditions. In the meantime, he takes an extra job from a mysterious man to kill someone and suddenly finds himself in the midst of the Russian mafia on his way up the ladder of success and crime.

How will the show deal with the aftermath of Season 2’s finale twist?
For starters, we can expect Barry to get back to normal activities in season 3. There was a lot of action that took place in the second season finale and there are bound to be some ongoing effects with his children at some point. However, it is still unclear how they will deal with the aftermath of what happened in the third season episode.
What can we expect from Gene in this series?
Gene Cousineau has been at the centre of several controversies in past seasons but that’s him we love him for and this time around it seems like he will have many roles as he tries to deal with Barry’s new identity as an actor – since he knows that this is something that he wants to do for good and not just for fun.
Will there be any new cast members joining the show this year?
There are no official reports of new cast members joining the show this season although there have been rumours about a “big casting announcement coming soon – maybe during PaleyFest.” Although most of the time in shows like this it is usually the other way around, but since Barry is an actor now he will have to go through a series of auditions and training which will probably mean that he will be busy most of the time. However, we might get to see Sally more in this new season than seen before.

What are some of the themes that will be explored in Season 3?
For starters, the show’s creators have promised to explore mature themes like beyond and family. We can expect to see a lot of things going on here and trying to get Barry back into his “normal life” which involves him getting a job and a new home for himself. Since Barry has not been doing well with his career as an actor in season 2, we can expect that he will probably struggle in this area this time around which is why there will be a lot of training that he needs to do in order for him to establish himself as an actor.
