Black Panther Wakanda Forever is a 2022 American famous hero film based on the Marvel Comics Universe character Black Panther. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. The first film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) superhero sequel to Black Panther. The New York Times had reported that Marvel was considering producing a sequel. There are no plans for a sequel, but Coogler has said he is open to another “Black Panther” film if he has a story. The sequel is expected to bring back some of the original cast members, as well as get new faces including Okoye, who will return to protect Wakanda from outside threats, and Ulysses Klaue. The film follows T’Challa/Black Panther (Ayo), who returns home from being crowned king after killing Erik Killmonger in the first film. The sequel will show T’Challa wrestling with whether or not to stay a king after he killed his father’s killer. He wanted to continue his father’s legacy and chose the diplomatic path.

The script for the sequel film will be written by Coogler, who will also return in his role as director.
