The popular romance drama show Bridgerton is on pause again. The anticipated second season production was paused for 24 hours earlier this week after a crew member was tested positive, but they resumed production on Friday by taking care of all covid-19 health and safety protocols with the isolation of a particular person and proper testing of other teammates. Note: The Bridgerton Season Two production was paused on the morning of March 20th following a confirmed case of measles. As per protocol, the cast and crew have been fully immunized or isolated until they are cleared by their medical professionals. Production will resume once all safety guidelines can be met.
Bridgerton is an American streaming television period drama series created by Chris Van Dusen and produced by Shonda Rhimes. It is based on Julia Quinn’s novels set in the competitive world of Regency-era London’s ton during the season when debutantes are presented at court. It is Rhimes’s first scripted Netflix series. A romance drama show set in England’s Victorian era is now filming its second season for release later this year!

The production of Shondaland backed “Bridgerton Season 2” is looking for a new production date after the production took a halt. The shooting of the series is already underway in various locations, where there has been a significant rise in Covid Cases in the UK.
The upcoming series will focus on Lord Anthony Bridgerton, Daphne’s elder brother, and his journey to find love. The storyline is based on author Julia Quinn’s “The Viscount Who Loved Me.”
The first season was a massive hit and focused on the romance between Daphne and Simon, the role which Rege-Jean Page played, who unfortunately is not returning in the second season. The show recently earned a total of 12 Emmy nominations.
