The favorite characters of the directors are Hank Voight and Sophia Bush. The directors love the chemistry between Seda and Beghe. They were really happy that they got to include Eva LaRue, who is probably one of the most beautiful women ever on TV today. The directors said that she is simply a breath of fresh air and they can honestly say they will always be thankful to her for giving them such an amazing opportunity in their directing careers.

The storyline of Chicago P.D revolves around the life of police officer Antonio Dawson (Seda) and his partner, Jay Halstead (Beghe), who are working in the P.D. ‘s Gang Unit. The pair get into trouble when they beat up a criminal who killed one of Dawson’s informants, leading to the death of Jay’s girlfriend, Violet.
