Crazy Rich Asians 2 is set to hit theatres on September 19, 2019. The movie is based off the novel of the same name by Kevin Kwan. Jon M. Chu is overwhelmed about the success of the first part as he had a lot of pressure to make it a great series. The director hired his own editor and cinematographer for the first part as he wanted to make sure that it will be a good one. When directing the film, Jon had to make sure that everything was done in an Asian way, from accents to sights to cultural things and Jon did it perfectly.
