The plot of “Reel Steel” the movie revolves around a father who is trying to make money by having his robots fight in boxing matches. His son Charlie, who has been training robots since he was young, gets back in town after his divorce and he wants to be more involved in the future of boxing. The father and son do not see eye to eye so they are trying to find a way to get along again. From there the plot progresses with the father and son trying to make a deal so they can use robots again in boxing matches.

What will be the role of artificial intelligence in “Real Steel”?
Levy explained that he wants to introduce a very new kind of AI and it is not based on technology but on science. In the scene where Charlie meets Atom, their robots won’t be human. Levy said. “He looks like a robot with a human brain, almost like he is wearing a normal human’s skin”. The reason for this is to show how much people change the world.
What are the plans for “Reel Steel”?
Levy said that after the movie, he will start working on another project: “We have an idea of doing another Transformers-like movie that will focus on the original characters and their stories, their origins. I want to do it in China and Shanghai because it has bigger possibilities economically than in Las Vegas.”
