What is the premise of the series?

Doom Patrol was founded by the brilliant scientist Dr. Niles Caulder. He discovered a way to open portals in time. He found five people with extraordinary abilities that made them perfect test subjects for his experiments: Casey Brink/Coagula, Scott Fischer/Robotman, Elasti-Girl, and Steve Dayton/Mento. When the original leader dies, they are led by the chief.

The battle between Dorothy and the Candlemaker reaches its climax, and the Doom Patrol suffers a tragic loss. Following the catastrophe, the team struggles to figure their identities out as they go their separate ways. And after the appearance of Madame Rouge in a time machine changes everything.

Is the series worth watching?

Doom Patrol is a great show that puts the characters first, and it has some of the most interesting dynamics on TV. It sets itself apart from other superhero shows. However,  by having fantastic character development with each member getting their turn to shine in an episode while also giving us high-stakes action sequences. Therefore the series does not feel like your typical DC show.  So, there is something for everybody here.
