ABOUT DOOM PATROL SEASON 3:

DOOM PATROL is an American superhero television series based on the comic book of the same name by Grant Morrison. The show premiered on DC Universe first on February 15, 2019, and has been renewed for a second season before its release date. There are twelve episodes in Season One that will air over six weeks, followed by a break to allow the series to be serialized.

RELEASING DATE:

The third season of the series will take place in Caseyville, a small town that had been destroyed by Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing. Elastiwoman is helping to rebuild her hometown with Robot Man and Negative Woman when they’re approached by an unhinged superbill. PLASTIC MAN is the son of PLAS’TS (who was created by Mister Nobody) and has had a troubled life. He’s been framed for crimes, lost his girlfriend to suicide, and drinks too much.

THE STARRING CAST:

  • The CAST includes many new faces that are a refreshing change of pace for this show.
  • There’s BERETTA RAMON as Rita Farr/Elasti-Girl, MARTIN STEVENS in the role of Cliff Steele/Robotman, and DANNY TREJO as Niles Caulder, aka The Chief.
  • PLASTIC MAN is played by CHARLES MARTIN STEVENS, who also voices Cliff Steele/Robotman.
  • NANCY BAILEY portrays Negative Woman/Elisa Perez-Sloane.

PRODUCTION:

The series was created by Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns, and Akiva Goldsman with a pilot written by Andrew Kreisberg. It was directed by Marc Webb. Principal photography began in Toronto on August 27, 2018, for six months of filming that included extensive use of green screen technology to create virtual sets.

EXPECTATIONS:
