The story takes place in the future where humanity has been turned to statues by an unknown event. The only two human beings to remain free from this curse are Senku Ishikawa, a teenage genius who is determined to find out what happened all those years ago, and Taiju Otsuya his old friend who was resurrected after him due to their strong friendship bond. Together they will work together with other dr stone’s like them such as Tetra Azami (the best dr stone), Tionishia Shiina (a girl who can use her dr stone powers without saying any incantations.
Dr. Stone is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Riichiro Inagaki. The manga has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since November 2016, with thirteen volumes released as of December 16th, 2018.

The Dr. Stone story will take place a thousand years after the mysterious event that turned almost all of humanity to stone and left it as an endangered species. Dr. Stone protagonist Senku rescues Taiju with his genius intellect, science-filled brain, and limitless curiosity about what can be done with Dr. Stone’s abilities and. Together, they set out on a journey to find the dr stone that can undo what was done and bring back humanity’s full glory.
“Dr. Stone Season 3” Plot Summary
We don’t know much about Dr. Stone Season three, but we do know it will return to the story of Senku and Taiju who still have dr stone tasks ahead of them and new dr stone adventures that can’t wait to be explored! But, we can say that the anime will follow the manga and adopt the “Age of Exploration Arc” next. This is what they have built the mighty ship named “Perseus” and sail around the world in search of answers about what exactly caused humanity to turn to stone. Along the way, they come up with more inventions to help mankind get on track.

“Dr. Stone Season 3” Release Date
Season 1 was officially aired in September 2019. Season 2 roughly came out a year and a half after at the beginning of 2021. Without an official release date yet, it is expected the Season 3 to air somewhat in spring or summer of 2022.
