The new movie ENOLA HOLMES is set to release in theaters next year. This film will be the sequel to the first ENOLA HOLMES that was released in 2016. The second installment stars Zoë Kravitz as Enola Holmes and Rachel Hurd-Wood as Mycroft Holmes. In this movie, Mycroft must take care of his sister while their father Sherlock is away on business for an extended period of time.

The first ENOLA HOLMES film was a massive success. It became the third-highest-grossing independent release of 2016 in North America, and it took home seven awards at the 2017 Academy Awards for Best Production Design, Costume Design, Sound Editing, Sound Mixing, Film Editing (awarded to Craig Wood), Visual Effects and Animated Short Film.

PRODUCTION:
It has been filmed at Pinewood Studios and was distributed by Warner Bros Pictures. The production for this film began in September 2015 and was completed by November 16, 2016.
THE PLOT OF ENOLA HOLMES 2:
In the sequel, Mycroft Holmes is now in charge, and he must single-handedly take care of his sister Enola while their father Sherlock is away on business.
The lock is away on business for an extended period of time. Enola must take care of herself and Mycroft while Sherlock is out working in the field, solving crimes around the world. When a family secret comes to light, it has a bigger impact than anyone could have imagined. Mycroft Holmes is played by Maya Massar, who will also voice the character in the upcoming series of animated shorts on BBC One called “Sherlock’s World.” Sherlock’s brother Mycroft has a mystery to solve, and he needs your help!
THE STARRING CAST OF ENOLA HOLMES 2 :
- Mycroft Holmes (voice of Myles Jeffrey) – Sherlock’s younger brother, who is now in charge. He must take care of his sister Enola while their father Sherlock is out solving crimes around the world.
- Liz (voice of Lily Asher) – the daughter of a family friend who is in love with Enola and wants to date her, but she doesn’t think it would be appropriate at this time because their father Sherlock is away solving crimes around the world.
- Mr. Sigerson Holmes – Enola and Sherlock’s father, who is a famous detective.
- Mrs. Sigerson Holmes – Enola and Sherlock’s mother, who takes care of the housework while her husband goes on his missions as part of the Baker Street Irregulars.
- Sherlock Holmes (voice of Ben Aldridge) -the older brother to Mycroft and Enola, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sigerson Holmes, who is also a detective
- Mycroft Holmes (voice) – Sherlock’s younger brother who is often teased by his older sister because he doesn’t do anything to help with cases as Enola does

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM ENOLA HOLMES 2 :
Fans can expect just as much fun from this film with even more action sequences than before. The expectations for this film seem to be mixed, with some people saying that they are expecting a lot from the movie due to its predecessor, while others say it looks like there is nothing new going on in terms of storyline or plot development.
The producers of the film are hoping to recreate that same sense of mystery and intrigue in this sequel. Fans will be pleased to know that the original cast members from ENOLA HOLMES have returned for this sequel.

RENEWAL STATUS:
The production of Enola Holmes is said to be in full swing as they are already in pre-production for the third installment. For this sequel, they have cast the voice actress, who is a relative of BBC’s Jeremy Brett, playing Sherlock Holmes. They are also looking for an actor to play Mycroft Holmes as well.
