Reviews:

“For all that its plot is stuffed with the incident, The Crimes of Grindelwald never quite takes off. It’s diverting enough as spectacle, but narratively flabby and (unlike the first film) emotionally inert.” – Peter Bradshaw. “It should be fascinating to watch Rowling expand her Wizarding World over the next several years. It will take a major plot overhaul for her to recapture audiences’ wonder.” – Justin Lowe. Fantastic Beasts has gotten mixed reviews from critics. Many praised the visuals and performances of Redmayne and Law while criticizing its plot for being too rushed.
