Plot Summary
The show follows Amaury, who has been struggling to make it as a full-time comedian and is about to give up his dream when he meets Sam (played by Zamata), an unassuming woman with a killer punchline.
Sam is one of the few black female comedians in Las Vegas, which she quickly realizes can be both empowering and limiting at the same time.

In season two, Sam hacks her way into becoming an international sensation. She takes on Hollywood with help from Tom (played by Jack Whitehall), who convinces her to make her first movie in London.
They soon find themselves dealing with even more pressure as they’re confronted with new challenges like exploring different cultures while filming abroad – not to mention trying to navigate the waters of being famous overseas!
