Haikyuu is a sports anime series based on the manga of the same name. The plot revolves around Shōyō Hinata, who becomes inspired by an old volleyball player called Tobio Kageyama. Together with his friends, they form Karasuno High School’s first boys’ volleyball team in years and compete in national tournaments to show their skills against other schools.

Production for Haikyuu season is being handled by “Production I.G,” and this great team of people has been responsible for the production of hits series such as Ghost in a Shell, Ajin: Demi-Human, Terror. In Resonance, and many more! Haikyuu is produced by Production I.G, which has worked on other anime series such as Ghost in the Shell and Attack on Titan.
Filming:
The filming for the Haikyuu season is currently taking place in Japan, and there are no plot spoilers available yet.

The Plot:
Part of the Karasuno team is Hinata, who tries to use a “never give up” attitude in order to improve himself and catch up with Kageyama. He signs into the same high school as his rival Tobio in Tokyo so that they can compete against each other in volleyball.
The plot of season five will be based on the manga “Haikyu!! Karasuno High School vs. Shiratorizawa Academy,” which is a match between two high school volleyball teams. In this plot, Haruichi Furudate has created an epic battle that takes place in Tokyo’s suburbs where Hinata and Kageyama face off against their rivals.
Part of the plot is that Hinata and Kageyama are now in different teams, but they still hold one goal: to defeat Ushijima’s team, which has won three consecutive national championships. In season five, Karasuno High School will have a rematch with Shiratorizawa Academy – the plot will revolve around the match.
