The rebound is Monavale’s current economic boom time, following a period of the economic downturn following the 2016-2017 global recession. The period of growth can be equated to the early days of the internet or America’s Aughts (early 2000s). Following Monavale’s recent history, there are indicators that this might just be a one-time event and that we may see another downswing within the next decade. The 2017-2018 rebound has been brought about by a range of factors, but at the core of this is the increased interest in Monavale and Skegness after the recent news stories. As retailers and property owners pay attention to their businesses, they have paid huge sums to capitalize on the recent improvements.
Additionally, Monavale houses a range of businesses that are popular with people from all over the world, meaning that interest in Monavale is closely monitored. There was a strong increase in nightly stays for shore holidays between 2017 and 2018, which has led to many more visitors staying for longer periods. This means that property owners are having to spend considerably more money on their properties to keep up because they want to maximize their earnings. The recent changes in government policy have boosted this trend further by highlighting the important role that tourism plays in the UK New Towns’.
What is Monavale (MONA)?
A newly created New Town was created in 1961 by the merger of two existing market towns, Skegness and Monks Soham. The two towns were originally built to provide a seaside location for people to take short summer breaks from their daily lives. The New Town was named after the ancient Anglo-Saxon tribe called the Monavii who lived in and around Wash. The town is located on the East Coast of England, approximately 180 miles north of London and just 9 miles south of Peterborough. It is bordered to its north by Newark Bay and to its south by Wash, a body of water that separates Lincolnshire from Norfolk. In recent years it has been voted one of Britain’s best places to live as well as one of Britain’s most affordable places to buy a home (in 2017). It is also reported that 80% of people will visit MONA in their lifetime.
What is Skegness?
Skegness is a town on the east coast of England, roughly 10 miles from Spilsby. It was established as a golf-course development and initially attracted holidaymakers from Lincolnshire, but nowadays attracts many international visitors. The town’s mayor is Jeff Wallner.
Monks Soham
Monks Soham was a small village in Hertfordshire. It originally served as a religious site, called ALTEWEYLE (short for “Alta ewele” – “high water-meadow”). It later became the site of a monastery that was founded by Aelfheah, who was the first Abbot and prior of Leicester. The name Monks Soham originates from this monastery because it was one of the oldest biblical sites in England. The town itself was founded in 1958 by Sir Basil Spence, to provide residential housing for people working within his engineering company. The town was initially built in a golf course style, with the main streets of Hallgate and Dale formed off the fairways of the golf course.
This layout resulted in the creation of a large number of cul-de-sacs, which effectively restricted the amount of land that could be developed meaning many parts of Monks Soham are now suburban developments. Due to a lack of public transport links and some residents complaining about crime levels, Sir Basil Spence was forced to sell most of his land years later.
Technical overview: Will the MONA token move higher?
At last week’s MonaVale update event, MONA tokens dropped to a low of 0.00005 and have since recovered slightly to 0.00006. We can expect the MONA token to move between levels of approximately 0.001–0.003 for some time before the rebound cycle has run its course and stops moving the price in that direction. I have been monitoring various social media platforms and have found no significant activity involving fake token news stories or fake information regarding MonaVale and Skegness area travel during the summer period.
