I Am Not A Robot Season 2: Plot, Cast, Expectations, Reviews!

I Am Not A Robot Season 2 is the sequel to I Am Not A Robot TV show. The first season of this Korean drama series aired on tvn network in 2017 and it had a huge success with viewers, so they decided to make a second one! The new season will have 16 episodes like its predecessor and it will air every Friday starting from KST.

ABOUT I AM NOT A ROBOT SEASON 2:

There’s going to be more romance, mystery, and complicated relationships than last time around. The story will be following a star’s life and love, as well as their public image. The two main characters are Cha Ji Heon (Yoo Seung Ho) who is an actor with many secrets in his past and Kang Mo Yeon (Chae Soo Bin).

There will also be other important players like Tae Oh (Yang Se Jong) and Kang Min Joon. This season is going to have more intense feelings than the last one, it will also deal with the social issue of false reporting on celebrities.

I AM NOT A ROBOT SEASON 2 is set to release by 2022. However, no official news has been announced.

 THE STARRING CAST:

• As always, Gong Seung Yeon takes the lead role as Jung In Young.
• she’ll also be joined by Ahn Jae Wook, Lee Chun Soo, and Jung Dong Hwan.

THE PLOT:

The storyline will follow Jung In Young’s life as an actress and her love story with Cha Ji Heon. Some other characters include Tae Oh, Kang Mi Joon, as well as the members of a popular band called “KIMONO.”

Cha Ji Heon is a renowned actor who has an immense amount of secrets from his past. His perfect looks and divine talent have made him one of the most popular actors in Korea, but what he doesn’t know is that there’s another side to this seemingly flawless life: behind every great person lies a dark secret.

When he learns that his perfect life is just an illusion, Cha Ji Heon’s world collapses and he sets out on a journey to discover the truth about himself. His quest for self-discovery leads him into relationships with Jung In Young (Gong Seung Yeon), who has her own share of secrets, and with Kang Ki Young (Kim Hyun Joon), who is a genius hacker.

Together, the three of them strive to find out what really happened in Cha Ji Heon’s past so that he can finally be free from his pain. The second season takes place six months after the events of the first season and follows Cha Ji Heon (Ji Chang Wook) who is now living with his sister in Seoul.

Jung In Young (Gong Seung Yeon), a woman that he met during his travels to find himself, reappears in his life after six months without contact. Together they start to unravel the truth behind Cha Ji Heon’s past and his mother’s death.

SPOILER ALERT:

Kang Ki Young (Kim Hyun Joon), who is a genius hacker, enters their lives as he has been hired by Yoo Jin Sung (Uee) to investigate what happened in Cha Ji Heon’s childhood that led him down this path. Yoo Jin Sung is Cha Ji Heon’s mother and the CEO of CJI Group Cha Ji Heon works for his Aunt Yoo Jin Sung and is the Director of CJI Electronics.

He has been living like a normal citizen for six months after being released from prison after his mother’s death but he now lives in fear once again because his father is back to haunt him.

FILMING AND PRODUCTION:

The production for this season completed by the end of 2020. There is a total of 16 episodes in Season Two and they have been filmed as follows: Episode One has been shot, Episodes Two to Five are currently being filmed.

REVIEWS AND RATINGS:

Reviews and ratings for the show are mixed. Some viewers think that this season is better than Season One while others don’t like it at all. There has been some concern about Cha Ji Heon’s character because he seems to have lost his charisma after going into prison in Season One.

EXPECTATIONS:

Fans of the show are expecting to see Cha Ji Heon and his father fight in this season.
