The trailer for the Fifth installment of “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” is released. Indiana Jones, the globetrotting archaeologist and treasure hunter that has been entertaining audiences since 1981 is coming back! With a new generation of fans eager for his return, Harrison Ford is set to star in the fifth installment of the Indiana Jones series. Written by Mangold, Jez Butterworth, and John Henry Butterworth, it will be set in a new era. 

What is Dial of Destiny?

The theme of this movie is time travel. because we see the Nazi army and the de-aging of Harrison ford. The film is scheduled for release on 30 June 2023. The film’s script was finished in September 2021. it was announced that Lucasfilm and Disney had reached a deal to make three more “Indiana Jones” films over five years, after the expected retirement of Ford at age 72 in three years. The first installment in the series, “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade”, was released in 2008. The sequel, “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” was released in 1989.

Who is Indiana Jones?

A character created and played by Harrison Ford, the archaeologist made his first appearance in Raiders of the Lost Ark. He went on to star in three more films: “Temple of Doom”, “The Last Crusade”, and “Kingdom of the Crystal Skull”. On July 19, 2008, Paramount Pictures announced a fifth film was developing. In February 2010 it was announced that George Lucas would produce the film with Stephen Spielberg as director and Frank Darabont as a writer. In October 2012 Spielberg stated that he wanted Ford to return for a fifth installment but it was unclear if he would reprise his role as Indiana Jones.

This is the 5th installment of “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” and we have not seen him yet. Yes, In the Dial of Destiny, he does perish at the end however this movie will have a twist for all fans. The movies are directed by Steven Spielberg who has an abundance of experience in directing and knows how to execute his ideas in a proper way to bring an entertaining movie for everyone. This will be a different Indiana Jones which we have never seen before. Harrison ford for now is too old to play the character, making the new adventure different from the original series. Chris Morgan writes the movie script, screenwriters are David Koepp and Jeff Nathanson.
